Our mission is to create a place where families can come spend time together either in the Orchard, in the Pumpkin Patch or at the Fishing Ponds……..it is all about creating memories and making fun family traditions.
Cider Hill Family Orchard is 38 acres covered with 6000 apple trees. There are 18 different kinds of apples that are grown in the Orchard. Apple season at Cider Hill begins in late July, with our first early apple called the Pristine Apple and ends during early November. The date we end our apple picking varies year by year due to weather changes. Check out our Facebook to double check we are still picking.
As a U-Pick Orchard, our guests can choose either to pick their own or have us pick them. Our Apple Wagon will be available to take guests into the Orchard. You are welcome to spend as much time as you would like exploring among the apple trees.
Once you are finished picking apples, you are welcome to pick out your favorite pumpkin starting the third weekend in September or see who can pull the biggest fish from one of our five ponds. The Orchard grounds are beautiful and vast. Feel free to pack a picnic lunch and relax under one of the big trees in the front or back yard. Don’t forget your camera! There are tons of photo opportunities at Cider Hill Family Orchard.
Our U-Pick offering also includes Blackberries for U-Pick in July-August.
In 2016, sweet cherries and tart cherries were added to the Orchard. They are typically ripe in June.
We also grow sweet corn which is ready in July & August.
Always Creating Memories!
We work hard to bring you a bountiful harvest...
The Cider Hill Family works very hard to provide you with a bountiful harvest, but because we must depend on nature to bring us a healthy crop of fruit, we sometimes run out near the end of the season. In that event, we bring in fresh produce from outside local sources to always make sure there is plenty available for you to take home. The good news is that at Cider Hill, we have spent the year implementing cutting-edge farming techniques to grow more fruit for our guests when they visit this year and in the years to come!
