Orchard Information
Apple Season at Cider Hill begins in August and lasts until November. Families come out to the orchard for the day to pick their own apples and enjoy yummy treats like cider donuts, kettle corn, & apple cider slushes. Take a hayride, relax by the fire pit, shop in our quaint cottage store, watch your kids take a train ride, and enjoy the fresh country air. We are also open at other times of the year for picking other crops such as blackberries and cherries.

Cider Hill is a premier choice for brides & grooms throughout Kansas City! We have prepared the perfect all-inclusive wedding package for the celebration of your dreams! Our Wedding Packages include such amenities as the use of our charming Guest House cottage, access to the Orchard grounds, our Event Barn and the open-air Event Pavilion. Our Event Barn is the perfect venue for your occasion, whether it is a family reunion, birthday or anniversary celebration, corporate dinner, or church picnic. Our Barn weddings often accommodate up to 250 guests. Barn doors can be opened to give the “open air” feel or you can use the heating or cooling system, which allows for year round rental. “This was our 3rd year to go and it was better than ever! The people are so nice, paved parking, free tractor/hay rides, apple picking tools provided, the food was amazing (Cider Donuts: hot and ready to go, Kettle Corn: freshly prepared and bagged up, and Apple Cider Slushies)! We picked 2 big bags of apples and stayed for about 2 hours! Such a fun day. ”

Topped it off with slushies, swings, feeding ducks, running around, & great picture opportunities.
